Great campsite on Lake Orta taking motorhomes as well as tents. Some pitches on water's edge but you will need to be lucky to get one as they are in great demand. Most pitches are across the road on terraces, some with lake views and all with shade trees. All staff very friendly and helpful. Some pitches a bit nerve-racking to reach but doable with our 7m motorhome. Payment accepted in cash only (ATM on site).Excellent shower block. Highly recommended.

Helpful reception, pitches are not cramped up the slope side. Short walk to beach. Bar/restaurant has good food, sensible prices and great service. Facilities are spotless. Good value for money. Would stay again.
For some reason we did not feel really welcomed there. The staff asked us to pay for whole stay once we mentionned we weren't sure when we were going to leave, minute safter saying we could pay on the last day. We waited for 40 minutes before having our pitch as you are not allowed to park your trailer camper by yourself. The "book 7 days only pay for 6" offer is cash only ? The power outlet wasn't enough for us to plug our electric cooker. We had a power shortage on first night due to a thunderstorm, and the power was out for awhile. Apart from these negative comments great location, and clean campsite. Orta is a beautiful place. We came durin low season (september).
Stayed here for three nights and disturbed sleep every time. Was not advised that there is a hotel right next door with music blaring out. Had I been advised would require a pitch further along. Wedding all day long, with very loud karaoke (currently listening to blue suede shoes in Italian). Pitches down by the lake packed in. Would not come again I feel. Great site right by lake Orta..A little road noise.. great cheap site restaurant. Very clean facilities.. helpful and friendly staff.. 20 minutes to walk to San Guillio which is beautiful. Lots cafes and restaurants.
